The BIRD School, located in Antananarivo – MADAGASCAR, is a member of the AEFE network and approved by the French Ministry of National Education.
We are looking for the start of the school year in September 2026 :
A Native or near-native Anglophone Teacher
The teacher delivers instruction in English Language & Literature and/or History-Geography for the Anglophone International Section. The role supports bilingual proficiency, intercultural understanding, and preparation for International French Baccalaureate ( IFB) assessments.
Main Responsibilities
• Teach English Language & Literature and/or History-Geography in accordance with SI curriculum.
• Prepare students for IFB written and oral examinations.
• Design engaging lessons promoting critical thinking and cultural understanding.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with French and international colleagues.
• Contribute to cultural projects, events, and extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, History, Education, or related field.
• Teaching certification preferred (PGCE, QTS, CAPES/Agrégation English, or equivalent, bachelor's degree in education or a related field).
• Native or near-native English proficiency (C2).
• Experience in international or bilingual education is an asset.
